Ethereum - blockchain platform for decentralized applications and the second largest cryptocurrency by capitalization (ETH). The majority of popular projects in the field of DeFi and NFT work on the Ethereum network.

Ethereum is the first and most popular blockchain for launching smart contracts.&#x20;

The advantages of Ethereum include decentralization and security. But there are also disadvantages: low transaction speed and large fees. Sometimes a simple token transfer in this blockchain can cost tens of dollars, not to mention complex calculations in contracts.
